Notes:
-
Open Access Management Console
-
Navigate to the server you want to configure debug trace
-
Select Diagnose problems task
-
You can create a new trace setting or load a previously saved one
-
Let me show you how to create a new trace setting file first
-
Pick the modules you would like to trace and how much details you want to include in your trace log
-
Now let me show you how to load a previously saved trace setting file. I am going to use an existing one I created earlier
-
In this example, I am going to trace the components that are related to speedbrowse
-
Let's open a browser to trigger some debug traces. Please note that I am running inside an ICA session.
-
Stop the trace session at any time
-
choose "stop and copy" to generate the debug trace log
-
Go to Diagnostic Facility node to find out where the debug trace log is stored
-
You can find the location in the source folder text box
-
Let's go to the folder to get the log
-
Here is the log. You may want to make a copy of it.
-
The content of the log is not designed to be human readable. You will need another tool called cdfview and matching tmf files to interpret the trace log. Please see http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX106233 for more details
